Exhibitions, our primary means of advertising. We have been on the road as the exhibition team of "Totally Friesian" since 1997. Our horses and riders have performed at virtually every major equine exposition in the US. From California to Massachussetts. Our schedule includes local presentations and demonstrations, our county fair, university exhibitions as well as the largest equine exposition in the US.
In recent years we have performed in the evening musical at such venues as Equitana USA, Louisville KY, The Equine Affaire, Pomona CA, Columbus OH, and Springfield MA. Jokar's Friesians has also exhibited at the Horse World Expo in Timonium, MD, Somerset, NJ, the Carolina Classic in Winston Salem, NC, as well as participating in an 8-horse quadrille exhibition at The National Horse Show in Wellington, FL. Our performance troupe has as its anchor, Thor our FPZV approved Friesian stallion. He is joined by the FPS Friesian stallion, Biense, and the crossbred mare Sequoia. Our riders and handlers are all amatures, there is no paid staff or support group, we do it all ourselves. The same beautiful riders you will see in costume riding our impressive stallions and mares, you will also find cleaning their stalls and grooming them. Were not pros, were down home folks, and our horses are much more than performance mounts, theyre our companions, theyre family. And you will see that in their performances, the amount these horses give to their riders and their work is so impressive. The commitment to the performance is evident when you take into consideration the fact that they will practice, day after day, work long hours, study their correography, know their routines, travel thousands of miles, invest countless hours just to ride for you for four or five minutes. To show you what they can do on their magnificent horses. They love the breed, they love telling you all about their amazing qualities, and they do it all for the love of a horse. Ladies, I owe you a debt I know Ill never be able to repay, my daughter Christie Woida, and dear friends Susan Kuhn and Cary Everett, thank you for showing the world just what kings and queens of horses these magnificent Friesians really are. Check out the news page for our latest schedule of appearances and exhibitions, stop by and visit if you get a chance, theres nothing we like better than talking horses.
